Recognising your current visit

pf_session is a first-party essential cookie containing an opaque session identifier. It does not contain your password or balance. It is HttpOnly, uses SameSite=Lax and is Secure when served over HTTPS.

Its maximum lifetime is two hours for guests and twelve hours for registered sign-in. Log out or end the guest visit to remove it. Blocking the cookie prevents authenticated play.

Remembering the storage notice

An earlier pf_preferences acknowledgement record may remain in this browser for up to 90 days. It does not control Google Analytics. Your browser can display and remove website cookies.

Recovering a game in this browser

A pf:round session-storage record remembers the identifier of an interrupted round for the current game and account. Its :choice suffix can remember an unfinished bonus choice. This lets Retry recover the same server-held result.

pf:reminder records remember reminder dismissals in the current tab. The pf:effects local-storage preference remembers your reduced-effects choice until removed. Sound and speed choices are also kept with authenticated game preferences. None of these records gives the browser authority over awards or balances.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics uses _ga and _ga_<measurement identifier> cookies to distinguish browser visits and retain measurement-session state. They are first-party cookies with a configured maximum lifetime of 90 days. Google Analytics starts automatically when the page opens and may process usage and technical information outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States.

Our page-view events omit account details, URL query strings and fragments. Advertising and cross-site personalisation stay off. Your browser can display and remove website cookies; essential session cookies are required for authenticated play.

Removing website data

Your browser can display and delete site storage. Removing a session cookie signs you out without deleting the recorded account balance. A temporary guest visit may become inaccessible after its session identifier is removed.

Cookie Preferences is linked in every footer. Contact Support if browser behaviour does not match this explanation.
